Chloe's Nutcracker Period

It's very interesting living with a pint-sized artist. The downside is that you have to deal with that sensitive artistic temperament. Serious drama happens every single day. But the upside, which far outweighs the down, is that you get to watch her be inspired by her surroundings. You never know what is going to be on the paper she's thrusting in front of you.

Yesterday she did a whole series based on Christmas decorations (mainly our two nutcrackers). I've included the best of the bunch, along with the original nutcrackers that she worked from. The last drawing is of our Fisher Price Nativity set. She took her supplies and sat herself down right in front of the objects she was working from. It was so cute to see her concentrating so hard to capture them on paper. Anyway, enjoy! (As always, you can click the picture to see all the details!)
